YOU’VE CHANGED
Two-person exhibition with Jennifer Lipkin at Vaasa City Art Gallery (Vasa, Finland, 2022).

You’ve Changed emerges from a period that reshaped daily life, altered relationships, and foregrounded fundamental questions of presence, connection, and creation. Developed in response to the conditions of the pandemic, the exhibition examines artistic practice in a world marked by uncertainty and transformation.

The project originates in conversations between artists Lana Haga and Jennifer Lipkin during the spring of 2021. Sharing experiences of isolation, digital proximity, stalled movement, and a heightened longing for connection—to others and to the outside world—the artists found continuity in material engagement, colour, and sustained creative processes. These elements became not a retreat from crisis, but a means of navigating it.

Acting as artist-curators, Haga and Lipkin construct the exhibition as a cohesive narrative that brings together personal works, collaborative pieces, and contributions by invited artists Jan Lehmus and Nao Wao. The exhibition unfolds across multiple media, including installation, immersive digital and sound works, experimental sculpture, and abstract painting. Rather than offering resolution, You’ve Changed invites multisensory encounters that reflect on adaptation, persistence, and the shifting conditions under which art is made and experienced.
