THOUSAND POSSIBILITIES IN A THOUSAND POSSIBLE REALITIES, 2023

Organic cotton, post-consumer synthetic filling, post-consumer down, mirror
210 x 150 x 85 cm

Light blue soft textile sculpture by multidisciplinary artist Lana Haga
Thousand Possibilities in a Thousand Possible Realities is a large-scale installation composed of organic cotton, post-consumer synthetic filler, and a mirrored floor. The work reflects Lana Haga’s interest in material transformation and perceptual multiplicity, merging the organic and industrial to suggest infinite, parallel realities. Visitors are invited into a reflective space—both literal and metaphorical—where the self is multiplied, distorted, and reimagined. The piece explores how subtle shifts in perception can open up vast new possibilities for personal and collective understanding.

Exhibited at Contact- Memory of a Landscape in Ostrobothnian Museum, Vaasa, Finland, 2023 curated by Aura Seikkula and Formulaless, Harkko Museum, Raisio, Finland, 2025 curated by Heli Isolehto.
