Please Forgive Us is a wall-mounted text piece composed of steel and leather. The phrase, welded into shape, hovers between admission and defeat. Guilt here is not performative—it’s stuck, and unresolved. The leather backing, soft and strained, echoes the discomfort of helplessness: knowing something has gone wrong, but being too late—or too powerless—to fix it. The work is less a plea than a gesture of surrender.
