INFINITE SOLITUDE, 2025
Cotton twine and oil on canvas
55 x 46 cm

INFINITE SOLITUDE is part of the Superposition Series, comprised of reliefs in cotton twine and oil paint, guided by the principle of superposition—the coexistence of the unknown and of multiple potential realities. Each work evolves organically within a system where chance is embraced, and where forms, materials, and earlier works feed into one another, generating new possibilities.

A palette reminiscent of mother-of-pearl evokes both softness and fracture, suggesting birth, transition, and the quiet force of becoming. This approach to process and openness has been eloquently described by Rainer Maria Rilke, whose Letters to a Young Poet informs the series’ titles and underlines its meditations on solitude, tenderness, and resilience.
