FIELD OF IMMANENCE, 2026
Cotton twine and acrylic ink on canvas
120 x 100 cm
Field of Immanence (2026) develops from the outlines of the artist’s earlier sculptures and unfolds through a slow, meditative process. Cotton twine is applied by hand and simple tools, accumulating through repetition and touch to form a densely layered surface that approaches sculptural depth.
Rejecting a fixed composition, the work allows structure to emerge from material behaviour, embodied labour, and intuitive decision-making, emphasising process over resolution.
